Come into the bewitched world of an experimental singer songwriter, performing artist, witch of the woods and their wanderings in this sad and beautiful world.
My name is Kelli Frances Corrado (She/Her), I am a singer, songwriter, wanderer and witch. I am from Chicago but am currently living in a cabin in the PNW woods, the land of the crone. I write music, perform and teach classes. Exploring the healing powers of sound. Using my voice and string instruments I record in weird and wonderful places: a field of swans, seaplane port, tunnels with 12 second natural delay or a haunted school from the 1900s… The music I create has been featured in The Wire, Bandcamp Daily, NPR, Dublab, Resonance FM and many other places.
The premise of this monthly newsletter is simple: every new moon, I email you a moment of enchanted pause.

New Music-Sometimes it’s a live recording from a show, demo or remix. Sometimes I collaborate with another artist or sample the hawks in my backyard. This music is not available anywhere else.

My story -
Growing up in Chicago, I would sneak out during school nights to see shows and spend Sundays learning prayer rituals taught by Czech grandmother. This set a unique musical foundation leading me to pursue opera training, string arranger, beat making and poetry. Giving voice to my spiritual beliefs, I have lived many lives before putting my heart in song: social worker, student, tap dancer, teacher, wanderer. These patches of experience and experimentaion bring together a musical broth of magical realism and urban life ripe of lucid dreams and superstition.
