New Year and New Moon Greetings 🌙✨
I have been thinking a lot about the details and how each choice matters. It shapes how we nourish our bodies with, the people we surround ourselves with, and the beliefs we hold close. Over time, these truths become clearer, even if they sound like clichés. I believe our greatest strength comes from the choices we make and the intentions we set, which can feel both empowering and overwhelming, especially in these turbulent times.
Next month, I’ll spend three weeks in residence at Woodbine Chamber in Louisville, KY, recording new material I’ve been developing for the las three years. This will culminate in a live performance on March 28 in their beautiful Gothic church. It’s also my first album as lead engineer after five years of learning from my mentor Jeffery McNulty. Though I’m excited and a bit nervous to take full creative control, I’m grateful to work and connect within such an inspiring community that has welcomed artists like, Low who also recorded an album there.
Check out this month’s audio share a clip from my recent interview with Meg Wilhoite on Sound Meets Sound, where we explore the evolving creative process and my upcoming residency. Listen to the full podcast HERE. Meg and I have also collaborated on music before; you can hear HERE.

I’m grateful to be receiving partial funding for this residency and am asking for a bit of additional help to cover living expenses while in Louisville, KY.

Wandering Tale- Your 2026 Tarot Card
When I started this Substack, my first post was about finding your yearly tarot card, a ritual I’m revisiting for 2026. A card, drawn from the tarots major arcana combined with Western astrology. It isn’t about predicting the future but offering guidance. For example, the Death card signals transformation, like beginning a new health journey, rather than misfortune.
For 2026, the collective tarot card is The Magician, numbered 1 in the major arcana. Found; 2+0+2+6=10, 1+0=1, symbolizing new beginnings and focused, purposeful creation. Transforming life’s experiences into something greater than ourselves
If you have questions about this process, message me.
How to find your 2026 card:
Add the digits of your birthdate. For example- 05/11/1970 → 5+1+1+1+9+7+0=24 → 2+4=6.
Add 2026’s number: 2+0+2+6=10 → 1+0=1
Add your birthdate number and the year number 1 + 6 = 7. Reducing to a single digit.
7 would be the year card which is, The Chariot.
Once you have you number, use the Light See Deck (current favourite) to find you corresponding number/card.
Here are a couple of resources for exploring meanings: Atypical Tarot and Kippi’s Kwest.
